Augusta, Georgia native, Currie Kilpatrick Boyd, began her artistic career in New York City, where she studied wedding cake design at Peter Kump’s Culinary School. During the numerous weddings she attended as a cake designer, she noticed that bridal parties and guests were often in need of inspired accessories. In her free time, Currie began to explore jewelry design. After moving to Aspen, Colorado in 1997, she turned her personal pursuit into a career path and began training under award winning designer, Marya Dabrowski. Currie moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2001 and launched her own line of jewelry.
