Marie-Christine Pavone's charming galalith jewelry
is made in France from one of the earliest processed plastics. Each
piece is cut by hand and polished for days in a rotating drum, then
dyed and polished by hand to achieve its unique color and finish. While
often referred to as bakelite, galalith actually is heavier than bakelite
and has a much more polished finish which takes color absolutely beautifully.
Angelo, the Angel Cat floats in his shaded blue and shaded gray-white wings. Do you think he has a bit of the Devil in him?? With black painted features and black bead eyes, he measures 4-5/8" and truly makes a statement! Signed and in excellent condition.
